| موضوع: Saharawi trial in Casablanca: International observers attacked الأحد 9 يناير 2011 - 15:54 | |
| ROME (Italy)- The trial of seven Saharawi activists in Casablanca, Morocco, deferred to next week, knew, as in previous hearings, physical and verbal abuse against international observers, an Italian observer told APS Sunday in Rome. The hearing was due to give sentences for "endangering state security" against Saharawi defendants Brahim Dahane, Ahmed Nassiri, Ali Salem Tamek, Lachgare Degia, Yahdih Ettarrouzi, Rachid Sghavar and Lebaihidi Saleh. International observers attending the trial reported that the court was surrounded by "crowds of demonstrators waving banners praising what they called 'Moroccan Sahara' in a bid to intimidate witnesses, including foreigners," Cinzia Terzi said. | |
