Three Sahrawi human rights activists starts hunger strike

CASABLANCA (Morocco)- The Sahrawi human rights activists held in Akacha jail of Casablanca, namely Ali Salem Tamek, Ibrahim Dahane and Hamadi Naceri have decided to begin 48-hour hunger strike as from Tuesday, to protest against their trial conditions. The three detainees underlined that they decided to start a hunger strike because of the conditions in which their trial were held, adding that Moroccan intelligence services prevent their families from attending the trials and mobilized a group of Moroccan citizens and lawyers to demonstrate outside and inside the courtroom chanting slogans, which they dubbed "racists," said the Sahrawi news agency (SPS) quoting a communiqué of the Rally of Sahrawi Human Rights Activists.
